Because I love it so much....

This digital kit from The French Heart has to be one of my favorites! After creating the Blooming Florals journal, I decided to make a small, soft cover journal for myself. I plan to use it to take notes from the sermons and Sunday school messages at church and as a devotional/prayer journal.

Junk Journal - Blooming Florals

I am back and this time it is for real! I have officially quit my full time job and will be focusing more on my Etsy shop. I am so excited for this new chapter in my life and to kick it off, I have posted this chunky, gorgeous Blooming Florals Junk Journal in my Etsy shop.

This one of a kind keepsake journal has a hard cover made of tempered hardboard and covered with painted flour sack cloth. It measures 6 inches wide and 8.75 inches tall with a 2.5 inch spine. I have stitched some button on to the spine and added a metal bookplate to the cover. There are 6 signatures, 4 of them have a tab with a charm dangling from it. I did a lot of sewing and left the tails long (the new owner can choose to cut them off if they don't like that look).

Journal Includes
  • 6 signatures
  • 63 coffee dyed pages (a total of 126 front and back pages)
  • 61 misc. pages from digital kit, old catalog, ledger paper, music sheet, doilies
  • 77 Extras including:
    • tags
    • vintage postcards, date ranges from 1905 -1944
    • printed ephemera

This journal was created with a journal kit I purchased from Etsy seller, The French Heart, called For the Love of Bloom. I also used some ephemera printables from the Graphics Fairy.

I hope you like this journal. I absolutely love it! I have a smaller two signature, soft cover journal on it way using the same papers, so keep your eyes out for that one!
